I'm on disney's webpage and it keeps telling me to sign in and link my dvc account with my disney account to see any current offers. I see the florida resident and AP discount (up to 35% on select rooms) is it the same for DVC?
No I believe the only discount DVC owners get is on cash rooms at DVC resorts-25% off
We are using it at BLT in May for my mother and father in laws studio (didn't have enough points for their room too) booked through member services

I booked the room and used my credit card to pay so I thought that was allowed-just like if I had used my points to book it? (They are traveling with us we just didn't have enough points for both rooms). If not member services never said anything about it being a problem (so I wasn't aware it was). Guess I know for future trips. Honestly the public discounts on rooms are usually better so unless we stayed at an excluded DVC resort (BLT, VGF, or PVB) we'd probably use that anyway (usually 30-35% off vs 25%)
I think you are fine because I believe they allow your situation when you use points and cash to get two rooms and member is also going. I have previously been allowed in that situation to get a second room using points for some of the nights on that room occupied by relatives and cash for the other nights.
