Is there a detailed touring guide for Wizarding World of Harry Potter?

Will be at IOA on Sun and Mon, Aug 8-9. We will be onsite with early entry and express privileges. I am looking for a detailed touring guide for WWHP. Are there any out there yet?

No touring guide but the recommendations seem to be to go to Ollivanders first and then Forbidden Journey. Everything else is more time manageable. Since there are only three rides and a little show and stores, there probably won't be a touring guide.

Hello,

This information probably will not be helpful for you in particular because of your trip's timing, but my favorite book for all things Universal is the "Universal Orlando" book by Kelly Monaghan and Seth Kubersky:

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Orl...=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1280345316&sr=1-3

As you can see from this link, their "2011" guide is scheduled to come out this November, and it will include detailed description (and tips!) about everything in Harry Potter World. IMHO, this guide is the best equivalent to the Unofficial Guide for WDW, i.e. providing much background and tips like "sit on the left side for the best view ..."

I am sure that Kelly and Seth would appreciate this endorsement. In fact, my understanding is that these authors (or at least Kelly?) visit this site at least occasionally.

WWOHP is an old-school theme park experience, tho, in that it is best savored, taking in all the small details. Rushing to Olivanders, then through Dervish & Bangs on your way to the single-rider line defeats the purpose. Take your time, take in everything there is to see. Just "live" in Hogsmeade for a few hours.

With two daysand express pass, there will still be plenty of time to do everything else in the parks.

Do early entry and you WILL see Ollivander's show...FJ w/ minimal wait and stores w/o lines.

Only DC & FOTH have Express...not FJ. Do those two whenever.

Between 9am-3pm there will be a line to get into the land. Do all you want/can early and go back after 3pm.

There is your touring guide.

Do you think there will still be lines to get into WWoHP land in October? Will things slow down by then?
