I figure this is the place to ask.........

I am a traditional scrapbooker, paper, cardstock, stickers, embelishments, ect...but I've made a couple photo books on-line at Shutterfly and really like them, but to me they are sort of boring. Limited backgrounds to use and no extras or embellishments.

I want to try digital scrapbooking, but I don't want to print the pages and it'd be great if you could get them made into a photobook...is there a way to do that? Are there sites where you can digital scrapbook with the extras and then they will make the pages into a book? Or are there places you can upload pages you have made that will make them into a book? I know almost nothing about digital scrapping, but I have seen some very nice pages in on-line galleries. I'd appreciate any info that anyone would like to pass along!

Also...are there any Disney themed digital kits? TIA!!!!!! :teeth:

Yes, the pages you create become the pages of the book. Not all vendors offer a 12x12 which is the standard for most digital scrapbook products but you can resize for smaller books.

Check out the FAQ and Kit/Freebie sticky threads. Lots of great information there.

I've only done one book with digital scrapbooking, I did resize to a 8x11 size but now do most pages 12x12

eta: missed one question - there are lots of Disney themed kits & freebies.

I usually save my pages as pictures, then create a digital photobook with those pages and other pictures. The software I use can do this very simply. Sometime I also insert other project pages, such as funny photos with the original faces swapped, like this:

sorry for a wartermark as I use the free version.

(I like doing this:cutie:).

that is neat. What program do you use.

I use Photoshop, which is a bit of learning curve, and i create 12x12 pgs then save as jpge. Then i use Shutterfly and insert the pic as a full page, and print them in a book.

I use Print Creations. It offers a bundle of applications, so I can do all my work with just one software. I feel it's easy to use, at least easier than photoshop...

If you want to check it out, here is the website.
