Is there a charge for splitting kids meals?

Our DS 4 eats like a bird, I swear he could survive on 3 grapes and a french fry for a week. We have to force him to eat at meals alot of the times he still only has a chicken finger and a handful of fries. So can we split kids meals at TS locations w/ DD7? We do this often when eating out at home and they have plenty. I understand we obviously cannot do this at buffets, but what about other locations.Is there an extra charge for this anywhere?

We are thinking of eating at Sci Fi, Mama Melrose, and Kona in particular.

Of all the reports I have seen on this board, the only restaurants that have been reported to charge a fee for plate splitting are Rainforest Cafe and Shula's.
