Is The World of Disney a "Disney Store"?

...I know it sounds like a silly question! Sorry, but...

Is The World of Disney store in Downtown Disney a "The Disney Store"? I have a gift certificate for TDS, and was wondering if I can spend it there?

Hey TXTink!

The gift certificate is only good at The Disney Stores. World of Disney is run by Walt Disney World Resort, so the registers are different and won't take Disney Store gift certificates. Sorry.

Sad news, but I was afraid of that! Oh well!! The worst part is, they just closed the local Disney Store in our mall! But, you can use it at Disney.Com too, so I won't complain too loudly!!
