Is the week before Easter better than the week after?

We originally planned to come down over my spring break (the week after Easter). But, after discussing it with a frequent visitor, I am concerned that the crowds will be intense. Is the week before Easter any better regarding crowds? I realize some people have spring break the week before. We have a pin number that would allow us to have a hotel discount the week before. Also, how is the weather at the end of March? Thanks so much!

DH, DS(5), and myself have gone to WDW the week before Easter for the past 2 years. The first year was great. The crowds weren't too bad (usual long lines for popular rides), but you got the extended park hours, and all the other perks of peak season, without the giant crowds. That being said, we noticed a big difference last year compared to the year before. It was really crowded last year, the week before Easter. I really think it depends on when Easter falls. Earlier in the month may be better?? Just guessing here.

The weather was great. Warm/hot days, very little rain. We had 0.5 day each trip, and temps were in the mid 80s.

Hope this info helps! Whenever you go, just enjoy and go with the flow... Crowds can be annoying, but that time of year (either before or after Easter) they are unavoidable.

Might be a lil more crowded week before easter because school breaks are that week coinciding with Passover. End of week after Easter should be a little better...but that is New York...not sure of others school breaks.

We did the week after Easter for the first time last year. It was busy but we had a good time and did everything we wanted in our five days there. We found that the Fastpass system worked much better and we were able to get them well into the afternoons (esp at MK) now that they enforce the return times. We made good use of them.

We have done the week before(left day after) and the week after (arrived day before). We found the week after to be better. Still VERY busy but a tiny bit more manageable.
