Is the Sugar Loaf building at GF only for concierge?

Or are there regular rooms as well? What buildings are best for garden rooms if one would want to be centrally located by the main pool and food court with minimal walking? Thanks!

They are only for concierge.

Personally nothing is more than a minute or two from the main building or pools at GF, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

For non-concierge rooms, I think Big Pine is the best building (especially when looking at garden view rooms). It is right next to the main pool, closest to the themed pool, and also the closest to the main building for transport.

this is exactly what I was looking for!

P.S. Is this a non-smoking building? We have guaranteed non-smoking so I'm hoping it is. If there are some smoking rooms, does anyone know where they are in Big Pine Key? Also, what is the decor for this building? Thanks again!

non smoking the first two floors then it starts smoking on the third I believe.

if you like the location of Sugar Loaf, Conch Key and Sago Cay or on either side of it.

As stated I don't think there is a bad location in the outer buildings.

Big Pine has changed its smoking status back and forth. Right after the renovations in 99, the entire building was N/S. But the above poster is correct that it has been mixed at some point since. I would call the front desk to verify the current smoking status. Even if it is a mixed building, you won't be able to smell the smoke in your room. You might smell it a little out in the hall, but not in your room.

And Big Pine is Alice-themed.
