is the park suitable for Heelys??

The Main Street is cobbled and some of the lands have an uneven surface. Not sure if you are even allowed these at DLP - so many places have banned kids using them :confused3

Disney can be so crowded I would be wary of him going though the park with them :)

They are definitely banned in the US Disney parks so I would think it'd be the same at DLP!?

Are they banned in WDW??? I saw so many children with them, when I went!!!
And for the love/hate relationship, I have to say hate. Some kids can't control them and they don't care if they hit others, quite rude I think!

Heelys are not banned at WDW but when i was there we did try to tell the children not to skate on them. I saw so many accidents!!!

One of the worst was when i was on parade duty. There is a 30 second gap at a certain point in the parade where we can allow people to cross the parade route. Well one boy was on his heelys skating across the road when one of his wheels came off. He went on one direction and the wheel in the other. We had to get him from the parade route before the float and characters came too near.

Not only this, but there was now a heely wheel in the middle of the parade route which any performer could have tripped up on!!

They are banned, yes and if security see kids riding them then they are told to put the wheels away.
