Is the Omarosa/Ereka dispute being handled fairly?

For those of you who didn't see The Apprentice and haven't heard the surrounding story.....Omarosa accused Ereka (both contestants) of using the 'n' word towards her. There has actually been quite a bit of discussion when Omarosa and/or Ereka has been interviewed, and Donald Trump even brought it up on the finale show. Omarosa was caught in at least 2 different lies on the finale, so I question her honesty. Ereka was shown to be hot-tempered and foul-mouthed as I remember, but there was no indication of her being racist or using racist slurs.

If Ereka had used racist language she would be called out for it by everyone, I believe (other contestants, producers) for using offensive language. She would be slapped around in the media and be tagged with a very bad reputation. Since, though, there is no proof or indication that she ever said anything of the sort, there have been no repurcussions.

Omarosa, however, has not had any repurcussions for making (apparently) false allegations. In fact, what got me to thinking about this was a news story this morning saying that Omarosa is being considered as a spokesperson for health/beauty products. I am slightly outraged that she has not only not been tagged for being a liar, but is being considered for a spokesperson position after falsely accusing someone of such a serious offense in our socity today. Does anyone else think this is a little crazy?

I have not seen any of the shows, don't really know any of the plot lines, but sounds like programming hype to me. Is there going to be a II show, a followup one, (or maybe this one already was a followup if it was not the first one)? if so, I would think this type of bantering would keep the show 'live' till they can do another, a sequel so to speak. The world will make it through this crisis.

I think it's quite clear that Omarosa is a liar. The reason she is being considered for product endorsements is because she is the person that people love to hate. She is like watching a train wreck, you can't keep your eyes off of her.

The scariest thing is that she is in negotiations to have her own talk show. I think people would actually tune in just to see what she comes up with next, not because they think she is intellectually stimulating.

Why isn't she getting any backlash for making false accusation that someone used racial slurs? If Ereka actually HAD done it, she'd be getting some serious backlash.

I think Omarosa is a liar and nothing she says is to be trusted. She's a manipulator and uses whatever means she can to get what she wants, even if it means resorting to lies so that she can play the victim. She doesn't care how it may affect anyone else.

The sad part is that with all the real racism going on in the world, she chose to ignite a VERY serious and sensitive topic, and the fact that she would take something like racism so lightly and twist it for her own gain just shows you where her mind is.

Yes!

I was very disappointed in Oprah when both women were on her show and the topic came up. The Apprentice producers say they have reviewed the tapes and never saw/heard Ereka use that word. I am not a fan of either woman, but I do think Ereka has been treated unfairly.

If Omarosa does become a spokesperson for certain products/brands I use, I will spend my money elsewhere. I think Omaroas's brand of racism is more repugnant because she IS educated and intelligent and, according to reports, pretty much a self-made woman. She doesn't need to go that way in regards to herself and the Apprentice. What she is doing frustrates the discussion about race, eqauality, and equity, it doesn't help it. There's that old saying about flies and honey...she had a great opportunity to do something positive for causes she believes in and now she is so polarizing I think it will backfire.

Just my 2 cents...

Dh told me that Ereka was on Howard Stern, while on the show Ereka took a lie detector test and passed.
