Is the new Magic hour thing going on in May

So is the new Magic hour early/late thing going on all months? or is it like E-Ticket and only going to be during certain peak periods??
and there is no charge for the night time event? like before?

I believe the plan is to stick with the new EMH system indefinitely. However, it appears they're still playing around with the schedule, so the day/park combos may change....maybe even multiple times during the month.

There is no charge for the extra evening hours. It's not like an e-ticket night, rather, the same thing as EMH in the morning. For Disney resort guests only (including Swan & Dolphin and Shades of Green), you get a wristband before the "normal" closing time, and get to stay later and enjoy a select group of rides/attractions, theoretically with smaller crowds. There is no extra charge.

For the time being it is here to stay. It will be interesting though to see if the evening EMH means the end of E-nights.

EMH is basically like E ticket night, only with more to offer and less to pay!
