Hey there!
Has anyone read the new "Queens in the Kingdom"?
Is it worth getting?

Thanks!

It doesn't seem to be all that different from any other guidebook, except perhaps with more of the authors' personal preferences (in terms of hotels, etc) thrown in. It's definitely man-centric, which I should have guessed from the title.

lillielil - (1) Love your signature! hahaha.... (2) Had to say hello because I work in DC and am speaking with several other people from NOVA. Hi neighbor!

Regarding the book...I am still waiting for it to arrive from Overstock. Will post thoughts as soon as I get it....

Hey neighbor!!

The signature is actually pretty sad. I used to have a countdown to our WDW honeymoon, but we ended up having to cancel because we had no money at all. We got married last december and STILL haven't been on a honeymoon. We're currently planning a trip for late September, so at least it will be less than a year after the fact! I got so bummed out about having to postpone things that I just got rid of my cute siggie alltogether.

(also, secretly, I hate the bouncy stuff)

By the way, I got my copy of Queens in the Kingdom at Lambda Rising in Dupont. They had a few copies.

Awhhhhh :( Sorry to hear you had to delay the honeymoon. Sounds like I may be planning a trip for this September also...and so far, it will be solo. Which I am distinctly -not- happy about. So drop me a PM if you or the GF are the sociable type. :)

Funny that you mention this....my girlfriend brought this book home last night and I was planning on asking the same question today. So far, of what I have read, looks good. I'm always up for another book on Disney.

Got the book today. The ride reviews can be a little less in-depth than more main stream ones, but the fairy facts are cool and the dialogue is hillarious. :)
