Is the Monkey Pillow Pet hard to find?

I have to get a Monkey Pillow Pet and am wondering if they're hard to find in the stores. A quick internet search revealed spotty availability....harder to find than the bumble bee but not as hard to find as the pink-footed zebra.

Have you seen it in stores? I'm in PA, if that matters.

I can purchase it then pick it up in a Babies R Us but I can't stand that store. The one near me is so so bad and I really want to avoid it.

We saw a ton of pillow pets (monkey included) today at Petsmart.

Thanks! I never thought of PetSmart. I am due to buy crickets for our geckos, too.....two birds with one stone, gotta love that this time of year!

Bumble bee hard to find?? Man, I've been staring at dozens of them at the wal-mart here. They're every where, but not really flying off the shelves.

I'm in PA too.. I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond with a coupon. They get a bunch there. Wherever you go I'd be sure to ask though. When I got my monkey it was not on the shelves. I asked the cashier, thinking maybe they could order it for me. She called the manager who insisted she just put them out. They were gone already! They found me another one in the back pretty quick.

Other places I know/hear they sell them, Target, Walmart, Kmart, JoAnns (never thought of that one), even the grocery stores around here have them.

I had a hard time finding the dolphin but was able to get it at the second walgreens I went to

Check bestbuy also,, I got the unicorn this morning for 3.22. If you happen to have a best buy rewards cards check your online account. They have been giving people $10 and $20 GC's in their accounts.

I looked it up on ebay. TOO CUTE. Maybe they will be back in stores before her birthday next month.

Are you still looking for the monkey? I saw some today at Target here in GA.

I caved and paid $26 for the monkey on amazon. It was worth it to not have to run all over town.

I found a Rudolph Pillow Pet and bought it for a kid...then decided I would give it to DH just to keep it at our house...then gave up and said "Look what I bought myself"! DH is sitting, watching football with it stuffed behind his head, on the couch. I don't think I'm getting it back....

DH and I like to "borrow" our kid's pillow pets (DS has a moose and DD has the unicorn) and use them. We're talking about getting some for ourselves, they are just so soft and comfy. He wants a turtle and I don't know what I want yet.

Santa came early to our house (my DD will be with her dad for Christmas, so Santa was willing to make a special trip as long as we left him good cookies). He brought me a zebra pillow pet. I'm 34
He brought my three year old a purple unicorn, my mom a polar bear, and my dad the patriotic puppy. It was a pillow pet Christmas here....

I saw the monkey at CVS today. If they're coming out with a bulldog, I know DD will want another one so I'll have to keep my eyes peeled.
