Is the MK and others open on Sundays?

Just wondering . . .we're going to DW in September and I've read that the parks usually close earlier around that time. It may seem like a stupid questions, but are the parks open on Sundays? I've got to assume they are, but to be quite honest, I just don't know. We will be arriving in Orlando on Saturday immediately before Labor Day. Everyone seems to say it's better to stay away from MK on a Monday? Any insight would be greratly appreciated.

All of the Disney parks and resorts are open every day - year round - unless they close due to hurricanes or other major world problems.

The parks might close early in the late afternoon due to special events.

They might re-open - say at 9 pm for resort guest on special days also.
