Is the memory maker a must for a family visiting for the first time with 2 kids under 3 that ....

Am I misunderstanding 2 under 3 or are you?

It's a little pet peeve of mine but I've seen it enough that I'm starting to wonder if maybe I'm misunderstanding the expression and not the other way around...

I used it for the first time last year and it was worth it. I am an obsessive picture taker, and MM freed me from that; I found I could just let it go. Also, I was traveling with a tween who was just entering the "don't take my picture anymore, ever" phase -- it's not just the little ones who can give you fits. The MM helped with that a little, because some photographers have a great, welcoming personalitymthat invites cooperation.

I see that you've decided to get it, OP, but I might have missed any posts where someone answered your question about rides that have pictures. I think Buzz, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Seven Dwarves' Mine Train are the only ones from your list.

Not sure what you are saying.
My question was related to use the picture service with 2 kids under 3 years old and their parents.

Yes- and you said one of your kids is 3 years old. Meaning you have 2 kids under 4 not 2 kids under 3.

My oldest back in February was not 3 yet so I was correct by saying we had 2 kids under 3.
Plus what difference does it make?
4? 3?
My question was if was really a must to pay for pictures.

Ok. We have decided to try the MM based on capturing special moments like their faces when they meet the characters.
Will also get Magic bands for my husband and I this way besides the video (s?) we won't need to worry about carrying cards around.
I purchased it last August and felt it was SO worth it. Had 2 grandkids 3 and 5, plus 1 15 yo; adult daughter, DIL, self and husband. Was nice to actually come home with ME in the pictures? Yes - I did take the vacation with everyone else :lovestruc got way over 250+ pictures. Meet and greets took 3-8 EACH character.
