Is the Friday before Presidents Week Very Busy?

Our first day in WDW this trip is going to be Friday Feb 17th. Just wondering if the crowds will still be manageable that day? Do the real crowds start arriving that night and the next day? Or have they already arrived by then?

I would love to know the answer to this as well.... we will be coming home the Sunday morning before President's Day!

We were all there last year during that time....and will be going again this year...Yes...the Friday before President's Day..definitely was a lot more crowded than the three days before....Our grandchildren have off that Friday and Monday...and we don't want them to miss much school...So..we'll be there!

Yes. The crowds definitely pick up at that time. It seems to be getting more and more crowded every year for the Presidents week vacation. The last time we were there, the wait in MK for most attractions was at least 1 and 1/2 hours on the Friday before. I'm sorry. I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear.

I have been there many times the week before President's Day. Compared to the minimal crowds on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, attendance starts to pick up noticeably on Thursday afternoon. The lines are still managable at that point. By Friday noon, the MK is generally crowded with 50-60+ minute waits for the major attractions. Thursday evening and Friday morning seem to be big arrival times, especially for folks who are only taking a long weekend.
