Is the Friday before MLK Jr Day as crowded as the rest of the weekend?

Hi all,

We booked a last minute trip for MLK weekend, but we get in Thursday night, so we were thinking of doing DL on Friday and DCA on Sunday. I'm hoping that most people aren't off yet on Friday, and it's more like a normal Friday, than a holiday weekend day.

Can anyone tell me if I'm going to be sorely disappointed or not?
