Is the FOTL line the same as Express line?

This will be our first time staying onsite at Universal. When I bought a 3 day pass 2 years ago, it included the Express Pass. When I read that the machines were taken away, I decided to use our final day by taking advantage of FOTL (and the Florida residents rates at the RPH). I know that we show our room keys, but is the line the same one for the Express Pass? I've seen some posts that the last 2 Saturdays were very crowded and waits were 20 minutes long in some of the Express lines. We will be there on Saturday. Any advice?

Yes the express pass line is the same with the room key.

Crowds are getting smaller and smaller now that school has started.
You can tell because the park hours are being cut back each week.

I think the longest you will wait in an express line, is 15 minutes for Hulk or Spiderman from noon to 2pm. Any other time and it will be a walkon. The afternoon is when the park is most packed. It's best to go back to your room and swim at the pool to get out of the hot sun. Then come back as the tired are leaving. 4pm is a good time to come back, get some happy hour drinks, and tour until the park closes.
