Is the Christmas party the only way to see the Toy Soldiers?

Love love love them and can't bring myself to spend that much money just to see them. Any other options? Going Dec 4-11 if that matters.

Thanks!

I believe the parade is the only opportunity to see them...moving. There are "life-size" soldiers that stand guard in the area around the flagpole at MK. They're just as adorable and are available throughout the Christmas season.

Last year I believe they had some Christmas cavalcades. Nothing has been confirmed this year but I am hoping they will! Even if it isn't the big guy himself!!

they were definitely in the Santa cavalcade last year, but unknown if that will continue this year.

sorry, reindeer were in with Santa, the soldiers were in one with the marching band.

They only did those (and Halloween ones) last year as well as offered holiday treats to day guests at Magic as there was no party…
This year all seasonal entertainment at magic kingdom is back behind a paywall (aside from if they do jingle cruise)

I was also wondering if we would see the toy soldiers or even Santa's reindeer. Leaving tomorrow morning for my happy place.

A friend was in the MK today and told me there were no toy soldiers around anywhere she could find. We will have to hope for some Disney magic! I trust Mickey!

Just out at after hours/party were only out for general public last year because there was no hard ticket

Someone will vlog the parade....

Bummer - they are my favorite and I love the Christmas parade too. But I’m not paying for a party.

Just returned from a trip where the mail goal was to enjoy all the Christmas we could find. Attending the party was just not in the cards for us and while I was disappointed to miss the toy soldiers, I thought I would share a few things we did find that were wonderful Christmas experiences.

Without the party ticket we were not able to see the soldiers, however, reindeer were in the Santa cavalcade at the studios. We saw it twice, one time there was one reindeer and the other time there were two. They were quite fun both times. Also, bonus snow when Santa came by, fun even during the day!

Secondly, the show on the Tower of Terror and all up the street was fantastic! The snow was magical and the whole experience was great.

We made a point to see all the parks both during the day and at night so we could appreciate the Christmas decorations both ways. Time very well spent!

We had dinner at California Grill and we like to make a night of it. We were still there at 11:15 when the Christmas party was doing their fireworks. Cali Grill brings in the music just like any other MK fireworks so while we didn't see the castle projections, again, it was truly magical. I'm not sure if you can access a viewing locations at the Contemporary any longer (beyond the Cali Grill balcony) but worth checking into if Cali Grill isn't in your plans.

We hit the deluxe resorts to enjoy the Christmas decorations and again, well worth the time. If you've never been, do yourself a favor and make sure to stop in at the Wilderness Lodge. They really know how to do Christmas right! And take the extra steps to walk to Boulder Ridge Villas next door to the main Lodge building. The walkway decorated for Christmas with carols playing, especially at night.....that alone was worth the plane ticket. The tree inside is pretty special, too.

Merry Christmas everyone! Mickey is all ready for you to enjoy it!
