Is the Animation studio open during the Trick or Treat party?

We were there last year during th party and I can't remember which rides were open? I know for sure that Grizzly River Rapids wasn't open. But what about the ANimation studio? Did they have the Sorcerer's Workshop and Turtle Talk open? Also what about Muholland Madness, and Soarin'? And bugs land, It's Tough to be a bug?

We will be in the Carlsbad area in Oct and I thought maybe we'd make a cheap trip and just do the TOT party and some shopping. We won't be buying passes for regular park days just the TOT party so I wondered what we would get to ride for our $35.

TIA,
Kelly

When we went in '06 and '07, i do not believe the attractions inside the building were open, becasue one of the 'candy trails" was inside the building. i remember because we went through at the end of the night, and they were piling the candy in by double handfuls!

I can confirm that. I went last year and although the building itself was open, there was a candy trail that went through the Sorceror's Workshop and so nothing else was available.

But you never know this year!

It is confirmed... BUT its very crowded inside...

From the looks of things this year, i think there will be more stops in the Animation building hoping to hold more people than outside of the park...

Thanks for the info guys!

What about the rides? Are just about all of those open?

Hey Albort - I don't suppose you would be willing to share a map of where the treat stations will be this year would you? :worship:

Last year you had an awesome map, but I know things are going to be a little different this year with all the construction... :confused3

Grizzly River Run isn't open, but just about everything else is. We were hoping for shorter lines on Toy Story Mania last year, but that wasn't the case.

Oh NO :scared1: ScooterL tell me it isnt so about TSMM. What day did you go to the party last year and how long were the lines? I was hoping to get a couple rides knocked out quick during the party.

We went to the party last year, and we were the first people on TSMM during the party. They had a rope drop and everything and there was a mad dash. We also did TSMM as our last ride by getting in line right at the close of the party. We waited about 30 minutes.

We went on Friday night. The party seemed more crowded to me than it had in previous years. As I recall, every time we passed by TSM the line was at least 30 minutes long, and it was up to 40 at times. We waited about 30 minutes when we rode it towards the end of the evening.
