Yes, small fridge in the room but if you want a coffee maker, you have to call housekeeping to bring one up to you. No way to get a microwave though unless you bring your own.
When my kids were that small (1 & 4), we never stayed at DLH. We always opted for the shorter walk staying at BWPPI in a QQ minisuite or even Hojos since we had a stroller. They did not care and were not that interested in the pool. I liked having more room for the baby stuff and both hotels had microwaves in the room. It was a pain to take the stroller on the monorail and walking seemed to take forever if you had to run back to the room for a diaper blowout or some such thing.
Now that they are older, they love staying at the DLH. They love the pool and can do the walk. They can appreciate the extras that come with the resort hotel like early entry to build a bear and the close proximity to Goofys which has become one of their favorites. I don't mind paying (as much) when we really do use the services such as the pool and take time to enjoy the grounds feeding the koi and playing with the remote boats. They spend a lot of time at the pool so it is worth it.
I think that if yours are so young, save your money for later down the road when they really can appreciate it! Honestly, they will not know the difference at this age. They are at DL and that is all that matters. If it is for your benefit and you have the money, go for it. The beds are soft and nice and I love the view from the Sierra Tower overlooking DL, DTD and CA. Mine still go to bed pretty early so I do spend a lot of time in the room at night and it is worth it to me to pay the extra for the view!
