St Johns Bay is a JCP brand, however St John is a designer line of clothing sold at stores like Saks Fith Avenue, Nordstroms, etc. BIG difference in the two!
Looking for St John's Bay clothing line. My bf has managed to rip in two of his pants he just bought 6 months ago. It's not even on the seam, but the material just seems to wear out so fast. He has a pair of Haggers that are ages old, but nothing is flawed on them. I bought him a second pair during the summer.
Just wondering if it's worth it to take them back to JCPenneys and make a complaint about them. They shouldn't have ripped like that. Not to mention, they're expensive to replace.
I work at JCPenney. There is a 90 day return policy but take them back and ask to speak with a manager if they won't work with you. The St. John's Bay brand is not the highest quality and we had several shorts of that brand returned this summer with a rip in the EXACT same spot. JCPenney wants to be customer friendly and do what is right so I would just take them back and be honest by saying that you do not feel that they lived up to what you expect for a pair of pants in only six months.
Thanks for telling me that, chisnpeke. Two pants from the Stafford line also ripped (as to why he got two St John's), same spot too, but the pants were years older. The Hagger Brand is great, but $44 for just one pair. Makes replacing these costly.

They are having a $10 off $25 sale right now. Maybe that will help offset the cost a bit. I know it does suck to have to pay that much for a pair of pants but at least you know they last longer, which makes it worth it in the end.
