Is Spotify no longer on demand? This and other premiums backsliding

Just wondering if it is just me that has Spotify jumping to songs it wants to choose for me instead of letting me choose? It says it is still on demand but not for me, lately at least. I get irked and just jump to radio or Youtube but find myself wondering what is their business model? If I can't choose isn't that the same as the radio for free?

All these businesses who made money as disruptors seem to be trying to capture cash for businesses that already exist that were mostly free to the end user so why are we paying a premium. Cable TV, now I need to deal with advertisements, satellite radio, now I need to deal with advertisements, weather channel, now I need to deal with advertisements.... why are we doing this again:rolleyes:

Also, Fed ex not using text and only email for some stores, what is that about? So many just going to seed

That's something involved with the settings. I don't know exactly what it is because my daughter took care of that for me, but there is a selection you can make to stop that from happening. Perhaps a Google search might help if you can't sort it out intuitively on Spotify itself.

No, it wasn't doing similar, I mean I would pick, "Never gonna not dance again," from Pink yesterday and it would play a few bars then revert back to "Winning," by Santana at least 3 times in a row. Now, don't get me wrong, I love both songs which are on my happy place play list BUT I wanted Pink not Santana and Spotify refused to let me have Pink so I went to You Tube
