I agree with others who have posted on this thread that it's subjective and depends on your taste.
I will add my opinion, though. I've never been a big fan of parades. Especially after a day in the parks, I'm tired and don't feel like standing up much longer. I'm also only about 5'2" so if anybody remotely tall stands in front of me, I'm screwed.
I love SpectroMagic. I never miss it. It is the only WDW parade I ever watch. I enjoy Wishes and Fantasmic! more, but SpectroMagic is wonderful. I didn't realize how much I liked it until about two months ago. I was watching an hour long WDW special on the Travel Channel and there was a brief snippet of the SpectroMagic music that played and my eyes got misty.
It's truly a wonderful parade and I see it every time I go to MK. My family prefers to grab some curb space on Main Street (the closer to the entrance/exit the better) and take a seat. After the parade, we watch Wishes over the castle and then hightail it out of there.
