I feel exactly the opposite.

I dislike mbs and the whole related thing immensely.

Our next trip will be our first with MBs. While I will reserve judgment until we've been, I am not at all wild about the concept. It seems cold and impersonal in spite of the apparent intent to make things feel more personal.

I still would if the pictures are important. When we were there in November it was hit or miss if we actually got us. My friend tapped the band to the reader thinking it someone knew magically who he was (first time at WDW as and adult let alone with MB) so we have some random family but my fiance was sure his photo would come up because of the bands. Well the photo never showed up so no Test Track photo for us.

I agree with the PP. There have been times when ride photos of both my roommate & I showed up (I managed his account) even though we went through SR & were in separate vehicles. But there were other times when some would & some wouldn't be there. For my past trip, only one photo showed up out of the several I went on.

This happened to me in 2008. So they figured out how to do this LONG before the magic bands.

I wonder if it actually scans at the camera, or does it just keep track of your place in line??

The spot you stop for the restraint check is when they figure out who is in what position. If you happen to get evacuated off the ride before the camera spot, you still get a photo of your now empty ride car once it goes back into use. It happened to by daughter on splash mountain where the camera is at the end.

I like looking for hte photo still, not really because I need to look for the photo but for the rides where it's more than just your group, if someone did something "not disney like" the photo is moderated but you get another ride without any wait to get a photo taken that disney will let you have
