Anybody know if "Soaring" is going to replace "The Land"? And is it "Soaring over Florida"??

It is going to be an addition to the land. They have built a large arena type building just behind the land and the entrance to Soarin' will be where the "Food Rocks" attraction used to be. From what I have read, they wanted to have something to "bridge the gap" between the Land and Sea attractions, so they added the air attraction in Soarin'.

Hope this makes sense and answers your question.

Does anyone know when this ride will be up and running?

It's due to open May 2005 as the kick off to the celebration of Disneyland's 50th birthday. It will start as soarin over california, but there are plans to change the film to florida in the future.

If it matches the DLR "Soarin'" it will be a major attraction far better than Food Rocks(which was better when it was Kitchen Kabaret);) :earsboy:

the only problem is us gardening geeks can't take the walking land behind the scenes tour till it's finished ( or at least that's what they told us in Jan)

I've always loved Food Rocks! I wish there had been some way to keep it......however, if I had to choose, Soarin' would win for me. It's truely amazing! ::yes::
