Is separate checks ever a problem?

I am traveling with a party of 10 people.... if our table needs 3-4 separate checks, is that ever an issue?
Thanks!

I think if you let them know at the beginning of the meal you'll be fine.

If the server is aware of who gets which check, it should not ever be a problem. Keep in mind that many places will require an 18% gratuity for table of 10 or more, regardless of how the check is paid.

No, it won't be a problem. Chances are that with that large a group, the server will ask up front of you needed separate checks, but if they don't, just let them know. This is a very common thing.

Last trip, I was in a group of 12 who needed nine separate checks at Tiffins. We told the wait staff ahead of time, and there were no issues with getting our checks separated.

Just be aware that most of the available discounts require the person who qualifies for the discount to pay the bill. If you're using a Table In Wonderland card, you can't split the check.

The only time this would be an issue is if you are trying to use Tables in Wonderland. In order to get the Tables in Wonderland discount, the card holder must pay the entire bill.

What about with the passholder discount? Does the passholder have to pay the entire bill, to get the discount applied for everyone?

You also cannot split a check if you pre-order at BOG QS Lunch or Breakfast.
