Is Senior discount hype?

Just want some quick feedback if the RC senior discount is anything worthwhile or is it hype?
Seems like you have to call customer service to even find out which cruises are eligible?
Any experience,info on current sailings, etc very welcome!

I have gotten the senior discount (age 55+) on some RCI cruises, but I regularly checked for price drops after I booked a particular cruise. If you have some cruises in mind, check prices at www.cruisefish.net for senior rates.
