Is RPR CABANAS really worth it?

I can get the cabana for $40.00 a day for our upcoming trip, but I hear their cabanas are small. Also, considering the weather in Mid-November, do I really need one? If I decide to get one, does anyone know WHICH one to request? I would like it where there aren't too many kids around, since its just my friend and I going. Thank you for any comments or suggestions you can give me!

We enjoyed our time in an RPR cabana. Don't know how the size compares to HRH, ours was a good size for two. Enjoyed having a quiet, private place to read and spend with DH. Comes with a TV, if you want to watch while poolside, a bowl of fruit, and sodas.

Now, I know I read somewhere that I might be better off renting Hard Rock Hotels Cabanas.... but is this allowed if I am staying at RPR? (and for the $40.00 rate)? Perhaps, this would be better!

U re allowed to rent Cabana no matter what hotel u are staying at not sure of your rate though as the HRH prices I think are more expensive

Were stayed at the HRH the first week of November. I loved the resort and was thinking about renting a cabana before the trip. However, once we got there I changed my mind. The cabanas are not exactly private. Yes you have the tent, but right around you there are lots of lounge chairs, and you have to walk through them to get to the cabana. Also, they back up to the walking paths. The chairs and table inside the cabanas were the same as those around the pool, so besides the TV, there was nothing special inside. After looking at them, unless I was going during the summer months when the heat kicks up for most of the day, I wouldn't consider one.
