Is Remy still at Chef's de France?

Just decided to make a quick trip down this weekend and trying to decide between Chef's and R&C. My son loves Chef's, but its mostly Remy related. If he's not there I may not give the option.

We were there last Monday and didn't see him. I think I read later that night on here that he was on vacation?! Don't know when he'll be back.

We were there two weeks ago and were told that he was sick and was going to be out for a week...seems like he's still out though.

We were there on 9/27 and they told us he was 'on vacation' for 2 weeks. No remy for us

He is supposed to be on "vacation" and returning, but like anything else disney it can change at anytime and without notice.

We had lunch there on 9/14 and we were the first table that got to see him. Maybe he decided to go on "vacation" after he visited with us . My kids asked him a ton of questions. Hopefully he will be coming back, my kids just said yesterday that they want to have lunch there again for our May trip just so they can see Remy again (which I then said that there is no guarantee, but we could of course try).

I was there last week and made an adr 180 days in advance just to see Remy. We were stuck in heavy rain and would've gone back to the room if we didn't have adrs. We had to wait outside for a long time only to find out Remy was out of order. I personally didn't like the food and wouldn't recommend going if you are wanting to see Remy.

I wouldn't go to Chef's just for Remy because he's unreliable. On the day we had our ADR at 4:30 planned around Remy apparently he decided to leave early for the day???? He frequently seems to duck out early ;P I liked my food but my kids who are WDW adults (10 and 11) didn't care for their food.

We were there on 9/21, and I was super excited to meet Remy.

Unfortunately, he never came around. Since it was only my husband and myself on vacation, I didn't ask for Remy.

Sorry I missed him-maybe next time.

He was there on Thursday. What a cute little guy and a nice surprise for the kids to see him.

YAY! I hope he is well rested from his vacation, and will be there when we go in 2 weeks! We love that little guy!

Thanks for posting that Remy was back. I was wondering the same thing -- we have an ADR to see him on our upcoming trip
