We were at Chefs de France about a month ago on a Sunday. I had purposely booked it to see Remy and had looked into what times he appears so that we would be there for it. Unfortunately, when we sat down and i asked the waitress, she said he doesn't show on Sunday
I called the dining line and spoke to 2 different Cm's about Remy leaving in early Sep. and both of them said that they had not heard that. We ADR's for the 12th so I hope he is still there.
We were at Chefs de France last week. We saw Remy at another table. When we ask the waiter if he would come to our table we were told that he was off duty. I think he is only there for a short time. By the time we were seated and ate our meal it was after 6 pm.

. . . he does not back-track his route through the eatery
. . . and, people cannot get up to walk to him *
. . . you have to be at your table to see him up close
. . . some even asked to come in from the waiting line to get pictures of him
* A crowd around him would not be good. Could you imagine being seated when he came by and rude/noisy kids walked up between your table and REMY? Or, being seated and people walked up and pressed their sweaty park shorts against your table? Eww!
