Is pool heat necessary in Aug?

I originally didn't think we would need pool heat in August since it's still very hot in Florida at that time of year. Now I'm thinking it would be nice or even necessary, mostly for the purposes of having the jacuzzi water warm/hot (I think the pool & jacuzzi water is the same).

What does everyone think? Order the pool heat or will the hot weather take care of a cold jacuzzi?

If you want to heat the jacuzzi to normal jacuzzi temps, the weather won't do it alone.

The jacuzzi is normally heated separately from the pool; the pumps usually have the ability to heat only the jacuzzi, or both the jacuzzi and the pool.

A comfortable pool temperature is usually around 80 degrees; the jacuzzi around 100.

But sitting in a cool (normal pool temp) jacuzzi with the jets going can be pleasant, too- it's just not a "hot tub" experience.

I know August is very hot in Orlando but when we rented our house and did not get the pool/jacuzzi heat we really wished we had! When we got up at 6am and went out to the jacuzzi the water was 'cold' not warm or luke warm,just plain cold and uncomfortable! If you want to sit in the jacuzzi in the early mornings or evenings,I would definitely get the heat...JMHO...

We have a home and go often enough. I don't think it is neccesary in Aug. but it is your vacation and if you really enjoy a warm spa then pay the extra for it. Make your vacation what is best for you and what will not break the bank. It is usually $25.00 a day for pool heat. Some include it but not many.

I recently had the same question for the owner of the house we are renting. I wanted the jacuzzi heated, but didn't care if the pool was heated. The owner cut the cost in half to fit our needs. Just contact the owner; I’m sure they will work with you.
