Is Poly Tower being part of existing Assoc a Pro or Con to Tower Owners ????

Now that we know the new Poly Tower will be part of the existing Assoc I can't help wondering if its a bad thing for new Tower DVC owners. As I see it the bungalow owners are the ones who profit. The bungalows are crazy points to stay and most people wouldn't want to use that many points regularly. One bedroom and two bedroom are the ones most families would want. Now Tower owners will be competing with bungalow and studio owners to stay in the Tower. Why not buy a resale of a Poly studio which will probably be less points to buy than the Tower. Am I missing something??? ( I was going to Add on and buy Poly Tower but now I'm not sure)

While they have said the tentative plan is PVB, we do not yet know if they are going to sell it with all the same rules and the same way.

I still would caution PvB owners to wait until we have official documents now we know they have this new way CFW is being sold.

But, we won’t buy the tower all the current PVB points are good there for 11 month bookings. We only will consider of somehow tower owners have some level of priority.

There isn’t really such a thing as “Bungalow owners” and “studio owners”; there are just PVB1 owners who can choose to use their points at either the studios or Bungalows. And yes, you can save money by buying PVB1 resale instead of waiting to buy the tower directly, but those points will not be usable at Riviera, CFW, VDH, or future new resorts. And while Disney has stated that they intend for the tower to be part of PVB, this is not legally set in stone and there is a chance that they could change course on this.

Thanks so much for the insight. I already own at BCV (20+ years) and was looking at an Add On. I always loved the Poly. I would most likely buy directly from Disney no matter what I did. And of course if resales were available etc.
