Its been a few years since I went to the campfire, and I can't picture its location relative to Pioneer Hall. Thanks!!

Here is a link to a map in case it can help you: FW Map. Pioneer Hall is to the bottom left of the map. The campfire is just above #8, to the right of the 1400 loop.

Wow, thanks for that! It is much further away than I had pictured in my mind. What's the best way to get to the campfire from the Hoop Dee Doo? We won't have a golf cart. Thanks!

You are correct. They are quite a way. The map gives relative distance, but to put it into perspective., the Fort is about a mile from Settlement to Outpost. With the campfire being in the middle, or nearly a 1/2 mile.

It's about a 15 minute level walk on a sidewalk.

You can take an internal bus and get off at 600 or 1400 (depending on if you take the yellow or orange internal line) or walk and check out the campers, trailers, and RVs along the way.

If it's not in the hot summer months during midday, it's a nice easy walk with sights. The campfire/movie/singalong is a long standing Fort tradition for us that goes back to 1980. Miss Sundee is no longer there to demand my best, but the current Cast Members give a good show and it's a memory in the making.

If you'll be there during any of the holidays, then walking is a great option so you'll see all the decorations. Otherwise, you take a bus from the Settlement bus stop near Pioneer Hall to the Meadows Recreation area. You'll smell the campfire as soon as you get off the bus.
