Is Osborne Lights EVERY night or is it ever closed for private events?

closed tonight for Pop Warner. The park does a hard closing at 6pm so no lights.

There was a 4:00pm close one day last month, no lights. I think there might be one more date coming up.

I wonder if anyone showed up tonight expecting to see the lights.

My in-laws cancelled their overnight trip - yesterday morning when they figured out it closed at 6. They were planning to see lights Wednesday night and stay onsite heading to Epcot today.
I wonder when the 6pm close was published.They have APs but don't pay close attention or follow the DIS.

It's been there for a while, they close the park early around the same date every year for Pop Warner, so it wasn't a last minute thing
