Is October really CROWDED??

Hello I was planning our family trip for October 2006 for the 8th-15 during my 1st graders fall break. Is it very crowded during that time? We are also briging our 2 year old terrible toddler (haha) I have always went to Disney in November before Thankgivingor right after Labor Day and it was great!!! We are staying at Polynesian and hopefully we will be able to get the room we want because we have been saving for Polynesian. Thanks, Nichole

We looooovvvvvveeee October!!! WE have been there twice in October and were planning for this October too but we are going to go in May instead before DS turns 3 and requires a ticket! Last October everything was practically walk ons or very short waits. We took advantage of EMH's at most parks and were able to ride things like Space Mountain over and over again without wait. MK started to pick up mid afternoon one day so we left but by "pick up" I mean 15-20 minute waits as opposed to 1-2 hour waits we experienced when we went in Feb/Mar before. We can't imagine going in a different month but we are being cheap

Another plus is the weather, hot during the day but not sweltering and warm in the evenings! ENJOY!!!

We went towards the end on October '05 and it was great- we never saw Space Mt's line go over 15 mins. The weather was beautiful, too.

Last year it was really crowded but it was due to Hurricane Wilma, usually it's not too bad.
