Is October crowded?

We are thinking of adding a few days to our Disney trip in Oct to include US. We will be staying onsite so we will have FOTL but it is very crowded at that time of year? We will not be doing HHN.

if you go when hhn is not available, no problem.

when hhn happens the parks close early.

i would avoid the weekends even if you have the fotl.
crowds are heavier then.

during the weekdays, not until 11ish do you see much in lines for rides/food etc.

the hotels are packed during the weekends due to hhn.
if you plan to do the hotels, make your plans now while they are available.
come september, rooms are harder to obtain depending on the day of the week.
