Is Nintendogs the "must have" gift this year?

It seems many stores are already out of them. I managed to get one at Sears, they had two other's on the shelf, so I grabbed another one, and may put in on E-bay in a couple of weeks.

I am not sure but it was pretty high on my 10 yr old DD's list. She really has been wanting the Nintendo DS for a while and grandparents suggested buying it for her. I was not going to be able to spend the money this Christmas. But she is getting the DS and nintendogs from my parents so she will be really happy.

Grandma got DD's last week. Grandma has a Corgi dog, so she got the one with the corgi dog on it and she was very excited. I think she is more excited than DD will be on Christmas. Perhaps we should be getting Grandma a DS too?
