I was just trying to get better deal on rental car through National. Put down my information and got message back that there are no vehicles available for location (which is Orlando International).

I still have my reservation, but do you think it's possible there are no more cars left? I am picking my rental on Thanksgiving Day at 5 p.m..

I just checked the website and did not get that message. I was given a rate of $206.70 for 1 week. However, I was told I could not use my coupon, because use was a capacity.

Not "out of cars" .. probably just reached capacity w/ the number of reservations for that location.

ON our last trip we rented a convertable. We didnot get into Orlando until after Midnight. This was with Alamo. We did all the paper work, got our directions, then walked all the way out to the garage, only to find out there were no convertables left. You would think the people at the counter would know this before they send you out there. Said we could have the cadilac. Did not want the Cadilac, but had no choice. What we ended up doing was trading the cadi, for the convertable at a car rental place in Cocoa Beach. That is where we were staying. :rotfl2:

Actually yes, the rental car places can run out of cars during peak periods. And I mean TOTALLY RUN OUT OF CARS. They try their best to shift cars from other rental locations, but that is not always possible.
