Is Nascar Cafe worth the trip?

Thinking about getting the Nascar Cafe GC 1/2 price. We are not fans of Nascar...would only be going there for the food. Is the food and atmosphere good? Also, can you use 2 $25 GC's for a party of 4?

I will be using my GC's this weekend at the Nascar Cafe. We usually go to the Hardrock Cafe, but thought we would try something different. I checked out the restaurant and the menu there before I ordered the certificates, and thought that we would enjoy eating there. I'll let you know on Monday how it was. (We are not big Nascar fans either.)

I believe you can use only one certificate at a time.

Your party of four could ask for two seperate checks, while setting at same table, that is what we are planning on doing.
We are not Nascar fans either but it sounds like it might be fun so I thought we would give it a try.

Well, they have good draft beer specials that run all the time.
The downstairs section is kinda noisy with the game machines, but cool to look at the car over the bar. Upstairs would be better to eat.

The upstairs is kinda noisy, too, with the regular recorded cries of "Gentlemen, start your engines!" and the roaring that follows.

But the food is quite good and the servers are some of the friendliest in town.

We tried this place last year and were quite pleased. The food was good and the service was excellent. The restaurant was noisy but in a pleasant way IMO.

Agree the servers are friendly we ate there just basic burgers etc but the food was good

We enjoyed it and loved the food, but we also like Nascar.

We also ate there.......... we love nascar too...... but it was nothing to write home about....... just basic burgers, etc..... we really LOVED NBA city though........ it was fantastic!!!

We are huge NASCAR fans and this place looks cool! Do they take reservations, or do you have to go wait? We're going to Universal June 28 Monday as part of our Disney vacation and this looks like a fun place to have lunch or dinner.

Also, it it part of Universal, or just outside of it?

When the parks empty all the restaurants fill up pretty bad on your way into park pop in see if they take a ps or reservation

Personally I love Nascar. I mean I loved it so much I went there for my Senior prom dinner Yes I am crazy to go there (because it isn't anything fancy), but the food is EXCELLENT!! And I myself LOVE Nascar!!!

I too hope to take advantage of the $10 price for Nascar when it comes out next week. The food was very good when we went last week. But what I like best about the restaurant is the big screen monitors. It doesn't matter where you are sitting, you can watch the videos. (Unlike at Hardrock Cafe where they have fewer monitors, all of which are small. Hardrock does have good food, though.)

do they allow you to use 2 certificates if you ask for your table to be divided into 2 checks? We don't want to eat at the same place twice and it won't save us any money if we can only use the one $25 certificate that we paid $25 for! anyone tried yet?
