Is MK more crowded when they don’t have after hours events?

I just watched a YouTube of MK for a non after hours night. Lines were long! The paid LL for SDMT was 40 minutes I think he said. Even the Little Mermaid LL was longer than the standby.
Has MK been more crowded on non after event nights?

My nephew and his family just returned. They said wait times and crowds were low. The only time that they felt the crowd was during the fireworks. They did not do genie and still were able to accomplish a ton of stuff in four short days. They did think crowds were higher at MK on the first day they arrived and no party was scheduled. I'm not sure it was party related or just the day of the week. Who can tell anymore??

Yes who knows. I’m thinking more people will go on non after hours because the park is open later.

I don't think it makes as much difference now. In previous years, when the park closed at 6 for the evening party, the non party days were much more crowded as the fireworks were during the party only. Now the firework show happens each night whether there is an AH party or not and the park closes later even on AH nights.

I watched reservations for our week in December become unavailable at the MK for party nights first. I don't know that it matters either way. I remember the wisdom once was to avoid days with resort extra magic hours, but eventually it became a non-issue since so many began avoiding.
