is Mickey a boy or girl?

Mickey, the character, is a boy. But, because of his height, it is typically a girl under the mask.

Mickey is a boy. Why else would he be all gaga over Minnie (a girl)?

Ted

Yeah, what is this boy, girl, "under the mask" stuff???? HE IS A MOUSE!! A BOY MOUSE!!!

MASK?!?!?!?!?! What are you talking about?!?!?!?! He's a MOUSE!!!!

When we did our tour of MK a few years ago and went underground, we saw Mickey without her head. Quite a site! Thats why they don't let kidz on the tour.

>>> What is this boy, girl ...

At my local science museum there is a diorama consisting of a more or less dirt filled glassed in cabinet depicting underground life. Included was a (mother) mouse with suckling babies, just like a miniature sow with piglets.

One of the museum guests passing by paused to look at them and said, "disgusting".

A better statute for in front of Cinderella castle: Walt Disney seated on an artist's stool, holding a (cheese) sandwich in one hand and in his other hand between thumb and forefinger a tiny tidbit (signifying cheese) just above a mouse, the latter could be on his knee or on a part of a table as part of the statue setup.

That's how a mouse came to be Walt Disney's signature character.

"Mask"????? Ohhhh -- they must mean the one Mickey wears at the MNSSHP!!!!!!!!

Yep -- under the mask is Mickey!! (A boy mouse!) ;)

LOL! This reminds me of the time I took DS picture with Minnie. He was at that "don't do this to me mom" stage. Minnie planted the biggest kiss on DS as I snapped the picture, now known as the "blackmail pix". Anyway, I said to DS, "Don't mess with me... you don't know if Minnie was a boy or girl!!" He has ever since been quite leary of Minnie!!! I think that will be a perfect picture for his wedding day!!!!

:bride: :groom: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh, my gosh.

Mickey is a boy-mouse and Minnie is a girl-mouse.

Pluto and Goofy are both boys, as is Donald.

Daisy, though, is a girl-duck.

Chip and Dale are both boy-chipmunks.

I hope that we've settled that.

but you know? the Pluto thing has always confused me. He and Goofy are dogs, right? so how come Pluto can't talk like all the others? I mean, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy...they all talk. but Pluto acts like an actual dog. so what's up with that? :earsgirl:

My neighbor, where we use to live, was a very short man who use to be a mouse (of the Mickey variety). It's kind of a Cinderella/Fairy Godmother thing. The mice were mice and then they were horses that pulled Cinderellas carriage. My neighbor was "The Mouse" and then he was a short man that sometimes mowed my yard.
Does this make any sense?

I think Pluto is supposed to be a dog. Not a human, like the others. Mickey, Goofy, Donald and the rest have human characteristics. But Pluto IS a dog.

Pluto has spoken once. I beleive it was in "The Moose Hunt." but check your A to Z encyl. I beleive he said "kiss me." That was a question at one of the Disney Trivia events I went to a few years ago.
