Is Memorial Day Next tuesday?

Just checking to see what day Memorial Day was on, I thought it was always the 30th, but evidently it's always the last Monday of May. Forget about the BBQ.


Edited: To not make people think that I thought Memorial Day is all about having BBQ's.

Well it wasn't a holiday created to BBQ. People started BBQing on the holiday.

I'm well aware that the BBQ didn't come first. My dad is a veteran.

Sorry I wasn't more eloquent. It's 1:30 am and I'm tired. And of course BBQ's aren't required for Memorial Day. I just found the post to be very condescending.
