Is Loews no longer representing the HRH?

I received an email from Loews today with some summer specials. It listed the RPR and PBH, but not HRH. Then I went to the Universal site and under hotels it listed Loews RPR and Loews PBH, but the HRH was just listed as "Hard Rock Hotel". I am a newbie to Universal, planning my first trip for January. Will this really make any difference?

i read on another board that HRH will not be a part of the loews program in the future.

HRH is a chain of hotels.
they are located in quite a few major cities.

i am assuming they will not have the affiliation to loews soon.

the hotel will still be there and i will still stay there in the future but it won't have the affiliation it looks like with the loews program.

for fotl, i can only guess what they will do about that perk.

yea, i got the same email for the summer rates for various loews hotels in the country. HRH is not listed in the orlando group now.

remember the email we all received about the "new enhanced Loews program"...............hrh doesn't look like they are "included in the enhancement", eh......

loews will present the new program after july 1st.
we will find out then.

the public will know if this will make any difference once the new enhancement program of loews first is announced.

thought about this last night.
maybe the HRH has full occupancy already for the summer and might have been excluded from the newest promo due to that.

Hmmmm....they applied my Lowes number to my HRH reservation for upcoming November '08 trip...:confused3

don't worry.

from what i was told, any ressies made before july 1st will be held and valid under the rules we have now with loews.

it is for the bookings july 1st and after that will be in the change.

my trip in october is safe also.

Did the Seminoles buy that one too?

edit: Yes they did & it might be why it's not represented under Loewe's anymore??

They bought the Hard Rock chain at least a year ago though so I have no clue - our Hard Rock Hotel down here (Hollywood, FL) is a real casino finally though

YAY FOR BLACKJACK!!!!!

i just checked into the loews site for the new announcement.
what i was told by loews yesterday is no longer valid.

this is what they have posted:

Beginning July 15, 2008, our LoewsFirst program will change. With benefits that are more flexible. More meaningful to you. More of what you want.
It's our way of saying "thank you" to our loyal guests. As a LoewsFirst member, you will be automatically enrolled in our new program at your current level.

In connection with the transition of our guest frequent stay program, the benefits available to program participants will be changing from and after July 1, 2008. Among other things, points and credits for the frequent travel [/B]programs sponsored by American Airlines, Midwest Airlines and Amtrak will no longer be awarded by Loews Hotels with respect to any hotel booking or reservation made after June 30, 2008, or with respect to any hotel stay made after September 30, 2008 even if booked or reserved prior to June 30, 2008.

so now july 1 is out and the new program starts july 15.

also, no hotel stays after september 30 even if booked prior to june 30, will be honored for original loews first perks.

no longer grandfathered in clause will exist.

ok, so my above post no longer is valid.

that's the way it guess in business.......
i'd rather know now than be surprised when i check into the hotel in october.

i'm sure more changes are in the making.
from now on out, i'll sit back and just read and not post about it.

I think it is still run by Loews but just not advertised as a Loews hotel.

Ok, I called and the rep on the phone assured me that FOTL pass will still be done at HRH after the change.

WHEW!

all the hotels will continue the fotl for their guests.

universal would never have that*perk pulled.

even though it is two different companies, they do work together.

Just a little panic attack this morning.
All better now.

Good to hear eveyone will be working together. They wouldn't be too bright not to.
