Is Lobster on dining plan?

I recently saw a thread where someone said that lobster is not covered on the dining plan and it was stated right in the brochure but I am sure that I have seen lots of dining reviews where people on the dining plan have said they ordered lobster so can anyone clarify this for me? I am planning dinner at a couple of signature restaurants for surf and turf and if it is not included I may rethink my ADRS that I will book on Monday so I would greatly appreciate any information.
Thanks!!! :)

Unless the brochure has recently changed, it doesn't say anything about any items being excluded (except at the Hard Rock and Wolfgang Puck's, which have an additional charge for some menu items noted). I think that a signature restaurant requiring two credits wouldn't exclude anything, but to be sure, you might call the restaurant directly to inquire.

Where is the HArd Rock? Is it in Downtown Disney? It is on the dining plan then? I wonder if they will eventually include Fulton's and Rainforest?

The Hard Rock Cafe is an Universal City Walk - no wonder it isn`t included on the dining plan. :earseek:

Here is the document on the dining plan showing all included restaurants

It isn't Hard Rock, it is Planet Hollywood and Wolfgang Puck's that are included, but will charge extra for meals over a specific amount. That is because they are not owned/operatred by Disney.

For all Disney restaurants, there are no exclusions as far as entree. There are some things not included such as the "Kitchen Sink" at Beaches and Cream ($21 dessert) but that is about it.

And to answer the original question, yes Lobster is included. I plan on having the surf and turf at Narcoosee's which is a $50 entree. Can't wait to taste that!!

Thanks for the replies I think what the OP was talking about is the CP dining package where it states no lobster not the dining plan I think they were just confused and didn't answer the persons question correctly :confused3

Hi,
My husband and I both enjoyed steak and Lobster as our choices at Teppanyaki on the dining plan. They grilled a big lobster tail along with the steak and both were good. For lunch the price would have been $35 for the entree alone, but it was fine.

I doubt it will ever add fultons or other dtd restaurants as they are not owned by disney.

Fultons and the other DTD restaurants are inlcuded in the Premium package so it's not really b/c they aren't owned by Disney. Must be some other reason for excluding them from the dining add on.

If I remember right...and that is in doubt...someone had a problem having a lobster tail added on to their entree for free. Since the plan doesn't mention add-ons, I just assume they're not included!

;)

Last year I couldn't get the surf and turf at the YC but at the rainforest in the animal kingdom I could get the baked stuffed lobster, put it this way it was good but not great, my so n got the ribs and they were the same, good but not great
