Is January a Good time to visit Disneyland?

I always say, anytime is a good time to visit.....lol

January will be a slower time (unless you come right after New Years), there will be some rides down for refurbishment & the entertainment may only be available on the weekends. The hours will be shorter & you may experience rain......BUT with that said......you will have much smaller crowds & pretty much get to do just about anything & everything you want with out the long lines & waits.
So there are trade-offs in going during a slower time vs peak times..... I like the quieter times & deal with what comes with it.

Hope that helps!!

Don't go right around New Years and you'll be fine.

We went the first week of February (off season) and the third week of March (spring break) and we liked the off season much better. The crowds were much smaller. Many rides had no wait, most were 5 minutes or less, and even the busiest rides were under 30 minutes. The weather was comfortable (a little on the cold side for most people, but perfect for me). We're planning on going back next January, and will probably never return during a busy time.

As long as it isn't too close to New Year's Day, January should be fine. It won't be too cold (Good ol' warm Cali weather) and most people have returned back to work or back to school at that time, so the crowds shouldn't be much of a problem.

January/February are great times to visit. Even the weekends are great if its raining! People stay away in droves! I went on a Saturday in February...the park was open from 8am-12am with a Magic Morning at 7am...the longest line I saw all day was Nemo and it was only 25 minutes. Space Mountain never got over 15 and Indy was a walkon all day long. It rained, so Alice and the Tea Cups were both closed most of the day, though not the first two hours before the rain came, though they did open Alice for a bit in the evening. The line for Alice was about 20 minutes then.

January is a great time of year as long as you are ok with some rides being down. IASW will be down and possibly HM if they both get their holiday overlays this year. Some others might go to refurb. But crowd wise January is a great time of year again as long as you dont go near NYE.
