I just called a travel agency and they told me that they can arrange something for me for the 11th -15th of June. (later that month all the planes are full)
is it worth it to go that time of the month?
i mean i want to make the most of my holiday and i also want to enjoy the park till 22.00 and not till 19.00

hiya
we went 8th june last year and it was fab!! not hugely busy, and lovely hot weather!!
ok, the park wasnt open late, and u didnt get the full effect of candleabration, but everything else was perfect. it wasnt too busy as it was before the schools break up, so we were able to leisurely wallk around!

ditto

when we went it was the first week of june and we had a wonderful time, i'd go the same time if i could take ds out of school! it wasn't very busy in my opinion, queues for the kids faves weren't more than 15 mins max, and most were 5 min waits.
Weather was great as well.
I'd recommend it.

If you're there midweek, the parks will close at 7pm, and it will still be light.
I was there first week of June last year, it was lovely and quiet in the parks, but we were there midweek. It was warm, but it rained 2 out of the 3 days.

The first week in June is usually Whitsun holidays for British school children.

Eek, I hope not! We are going the first week of June, Monday - Friday.

Our schools are always off the last full week in May, seems to be the case for the neighbouring boroughs too, so at worst the half term will be staggered :thumbsup2

Ours are off during the last week of May, which is why I thought we would be safe.

The prices on the website were also in the yellow 'cheaper' band for that week, so hopefully we will be OK.

If any schools are off for half term during the first week of June, please post here! :)

SORRY! I have caused a bit of panic through my stupidity. The Whitsun holiday is the last week of May. I was thinking that we are usually off on the 1st June - my godson's birthday. I should know as I'm a teacher.

Phew!

Now go to the back of the class.....!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but DDs school has 2 weeks off - last week in May/first week in June.

Its the first time her school has done this but other primary schools in the area have done it before

No scottish school holidays during that time as we finish up the last friday of June for the summer. :)

Oh good! I'm planning on going midweek during the First week of June so I'm a little less worried now about super busy crowds.

We are off last week of May - but be warned! Next year we're off 1st week of June, and I would think most schools will be as the bank holiday is May 31st.

We've been at the bag of June, 3 times I think! & always had lovely weather. queues not bad either.

As you say the parks aren't open late but we hit the pool then.
