andy is having his brother be his best man -- which is good because he's got like six best friends he couldn't choose between!!!

but i would like my sister AND my best friend to participate.

is that wierd to not have the same numbers on each side?

It's your wedding you choose if you want 2 or 25 attendants, it won't look weird. I chose not to have a flower girl but am having a jr bridesmaid, 2 bridesmaids & no maid of honor (could never choose between my sister & best friend).

Not weird AT ALL! Go for it, it will look perfectly fine. I've been to a wedding with 2 attendants on the groom's side and 1 attendant on the bride's side and it was totally perfect.

that makes things easier :) now if i could just get half the people on my list NOT to come so i can actually afford this wedding!!!

I don't think it matters at all if there is an uneven number. I am having 4 bridesmaids and DF is only having 3 groosmen. As long as the people that are important to you are there -- it doesn't matter if there is an even number!!

I too would have to agree with hfehr1s.

I don't think it is weird at all! I am having 4 and my DF is having 5. There are a set of twins on his side (hence how we ended up with 5 on his side) so we are going to have them walk with one of my girls.

*1 MOH, 1 Bridesmaid, 4 Jr. Bridesmaids (not in processional, holding chuppah poles), 1 Flower girl
*1 Best Man, 1-2 Groomsmen, 1 Ring bearer

I am a little OCD about the imbalance, but I'm learning to get over it!

I had a MOH and DH was supposed to have a BM but he injured his hand a couple weeks before the wedding and couldn't get to Orlando. So, my MOH (my niece) was also BM, flower girl, ring bearer, bridesmaid, and groomsman ;) She loved it and if DH didn't have a problem with no one standing up for him I certainly didn't either. I figured getting married in Disney is pretty non-traditional to begin with, why worry about the sides not matching :goodvibes
