On our july trip, we couldn't find chairs at the OKW main pool anytime we tried during the peak hours - I chalked it up to we were there over the 4th of july, its crowded, etc. - now I have read a couple other people making similar comments so I was just curious are there always these types of issues, only during peak season, or what? what is everyone experience been?

thanks in advance for the help!

Yes, it's usually difficult to get chairs at any pool. But last year we did find some early in the afternoon, but they were pretty far from the pool.

I agree with Deb & Bill, it can be difficult at any pool, particularly depending on what your definition of "afternoon" may be.

Unfortunatly chairs are somewhat limited due the design of the pool. This leads to shortages ,which lead to people dropping towels on chairs early in the morning. This means that chairs go unused for hours at times. The pool staff do a good job of walking around and collecting towels as often as they can.

In my opinion any chair with a towel and no personal stuff is fair game. Also it would help if more people would put their soiled towels in the carts when they are finished. I have often seen entire families get up and leave and leave all their pool towels laying on the chairs. How is the next person to know if you have left, or are just in the pool?

We were at OKW the beginning of May. We were at the main pool several times mid-late pm and were able to get chairs and a table for our group of 7. We also stayed at BCV that trip and were able to get a table and chairs in the later PM.
