Doctor said I have the stomach flu, they had to put me on a I.V. for being very dehydrated. I can't believe I let myself get dehydrated...

I have to say I feel better and the dizzy is almost gone since. She also told me I have walking pneumonia. So I have antibiotics, breathing treatments and a sack of drugs.

So how was everyone elses day?

Thank you Elin. I am sure I will get better now. She warned me that if I don't stay down, rest, and do all the meds I will be going to the hospital. So i will be hanging out here whenever I am not snoozing.

It look like Brandi and may others J's and K's have been busy on this thread. I will answer some posts and then I have some pictures to post.

You DEFINITELY need some rest! I feel bad complaining here about my silly head cold and congestion, when you have something really serious. Take it easy, take your meds, and be safe. You shouldn't have any germ killers!

How many of these have you seen over the years? I think this is so cool! My DH had to get a picture.

(I am hoping Ann is feeling LOTS better this morning and answers this for you, but just in case...)

They are survey markers and are in the ground all around the WDW property. You can find them in the oddest spots, like on Main St and off the beaten paths at resorts and Epcot and just about anywhere. We have seen quite a few of them over the years, but never thought to take a picture. See what a good eye Ann has!!!

Thank you Elin for answering Brandi's question so well. I am glad we are not the only ones who look for and spot these.

My DH was a surveyor during college so spotting this really excited him. Since we have been married I have seen some really unusual survey markers. There is a really neat one at the top of Diamond Head on Oahu, Hawaii. We hiked to the top a couple of times before they made a solid path, added lights and started bring in tour buses. Actually the marker there is a topographical monument (used basically for elevation and location, it is tied down to the highest point on the island and to other survey monuments using angle, distance and elevations ie: 3-D triangulation) The Disney markers are so "pretty" to me. They are in different places all over WDW, we kind of look for them like hidden Mickey's.
