JC doesn't have the right "ring" to it... I went back and fixed it. It has been a heckuva day. We made the decision to have our beloved 15 yr old dog put to sleep. It will take place tomorrow night and I am already regretting the decision.

I am so sorry about your dog ...I had to do the same thing in May, but my boy was only 8. I just wish I had more time with him. It was very sudden and we had 2 hours to decide what to do....my heart is with you during this very sad, emotional time. I still cry most days for my boy (even though we have since gotten a puppy to fill the void).

I will keep you in my prayers...

Heading down your way on Wednesday for a week ... couple of days on the beach and a couple of days in DL! What more could you ask for? On Friday which is the first day of fall .... it'll be 96 in Sacramento!

Just talked to DD on her way home from work. She was cleaning up the mess a baby made on the floor before she cleaned the table. This guy came up to her and asked why she was sweeping the floor instead of cleaning the F'ing table. She said excuse me and he then repeated it to her. She got her manager and he said it to her too. He said it like four more times. Security escorted him from the park.

Some people have a lot of nerve. Makes you wonder how he treats his family.

I have a random AKL question, and figured this would be the place to ask. I thought it might also help some others, in case it is not an uncommon question!

We were there in July, and to get to Mara, we always went down the stairs/elevator to Boma, past the pool and in the doors. Could not for the life of us figure out another way to get there. Is there an interior entrance to Mara, or is the exterior entrance near the pool it?

Yummy! Sounds good. We'll be there Monday & Tuesday, Sept 26th and 27th. Really looking forward to all the fall decorations. And I've told me husband and daughter I want to take time to enjoy it all.

I can't believe this

4 weeks to trip, and Scott's ex calls him yesterday out of the blue to say she has no vacation time, so she cant stay home from work to watch their son while Scott in WDW w/me...Sh'es known about this trip for months...So the wonderful, romantic trip that has been in the works for a long time now, has turned to crud
I have the 1st 2 nights alone, then Scott gets to spent 1 night @ AKLV CL with me, then we switch to the BWV, and Scott will be there 2 nights w/me, then I have 3 niights alone again. Real romantic right
I've cancelled all our ADR's Rearranged his flights AGAIN luckily JetBlue rocks and his flight down was all points anyway. Am still going to the 2 ADR's friends booked, Scott will miss Boma, but oh well...We can still do the 2 F & W events that we prepaid, because he'll be there those days.
So I am treating myself to a spa morning before he gets there. I deserve at least that.

You do have to go outside, but it's a covered walkway. I love the walk, especially when Boma & Jiko are open and there's lots of activity as you pass through Victoria Falls and down the stairs by the Boma podium. Then outside to the walkway where there's usually lots of activity by the pool.

I find everything about AKL/AKV tranquil and relaxing (even when it's crowded and noisy!)!

So sorry the ex threw a wrench into your plans.

You will just have to make the best of it and don't let her ruin your trip - sounds like that might be what she is aiming for.

Make the most of whatever time you 2 can be together at WDW in spite of her!

Hi All - quick question - most of you know we are going with friends on this trip - we want to buy the photopass cd - (pre-order it) - we CAN share this right?? meaning, we can add our photopass cards and thiers to the CD? I've tried finding and reading - but OMG - my head hurts and I just want to make sure before I buy it.

Also, this may be dumb - I assume we only get the 1 cd - how do they get thier pics then? I know it cannot be as complicated as I'm making it - I just don't feel good today and my brain is not working - HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
